Turbo Time!

One chapter has come to an end and the next chapter of our lives starts in 42 days!!! To say we are excited is an understatement. We have had people ask us how we are doing and how excited we are.  It is beyond words how we feel.  Just know, we are excited.

The last week of school at Timberline has been bittersweet.  Our students said their goodbyes in so many ways.  Some wrote notes, some gave us gifts and some pranked us (actually it was on me. see pictures below. I graduated from Washington State University NOT University of Washington. Hence, the prank.)

 

 

Once the students left at 10:30 a.m. on Friday it was time for us to breath a bit.  Summer is here and we need to get into Turbo mode.  That is, we got a lot of @#$ still to do and we need to move fast! We have friends and family to see, grades to post for last semester, clean up our classrooms, work on curriculum both here and for China, work to do on the house (deck and railing) and we need to pack and send in our paperwork for our Visas. Can we do it? YES WE CAN!!!

We have so much support that it makes our hearts sing.  Our son's have been so helpful throughout this process.  We have confidence that Josh and Kyle will transition into the men we know they are capable of being while we are gone.  We believe in them and know they will be taken care of by so many of our friends and family.
